11.12.2009 - San Diego Convention Center - dotloop booth
Dotloop, a company started by Ken Koncelik’s son in law, claims to bring the old game of real estate BACK TO THE FUTURE. They contacted me to bring the DeLorean to the San Diego Convention Center for the NAR convention 11/12-17/2009.
It was great fun... Here’s a link to a blogger’s video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAtoFilQPBE&feature=player_embedded
Last weekend was OFFTO55’s first builder’s convention. Builders came out from all over the country and even some from other countries. Lots was learned. Lots was accomplished, including many upgrades to our and several time machine replicas. Some of the changes to our car included suspension work to more obtain the highly sought after film-look ride height as well as a newly engineered rear deck (metal madness) with brand new vents, hoses, tubes, etc... and several upgrades to our exterior props including the addition of a plutonium reactor for part 1 conversion as well as part 2. The outcome is tremendous and the photos can be seen here.
Many thanks to all that came and contributed, especially those that traveled great distances. It was wonderful to see everyone and I personally can’t wait for the next one.
11.21.2009 - Industrial shoot for “POINT 360”
We just did a great video shoot for Los Angeles post house - Point 360. What a great group of guys and what a neat concept. Chris Schwab directed and it can be seen HERE.
1.20.2009 - “Keep Up” music video shoot for HYPER CRUSH...
The band HYPERCRUSH recently used the time machine in their latest music video called “Keep Up.” The video isn’t released yet but here’s a nice little behind the scenes video they put together. Watch it HERE.
Okay... so, it’s not DeLorean related, but you WILL see the car in some shots... Sean and I finally finished transforming his classic 1959 M&M Cadillac into the iconic Ghostbusters mobile... ECTO-1. The maiden voyage was meeting it’s creator... Dan Aykroyd. The event was so big it was picked up by Aint It Cool News and many other sources within minutes. (Click photo for video)
